Angus brings 30 years of business, engineering and entrepreneurial experience in Tech Industry in AI/BlockChain/ IOT and cyber security.

From start-ups to large companies,   Angus built many businesses from zero.  He built high performing teams at Cisco,  IBM,  Siemens,  Proctor & Gamble,  Procera/ Sandvine, InfoBlox,  vArmour,  CCR3 and AvantisLabs .  At Procera he started from zero and grew the business to over $100M.

With Cisco in California, Europe and Emerging Markets,  he lead the Go-to-Market Planning and launch for Advanced Technologies in Cyber Security, Cloud and  the introduction and breakthrough of Cisco’s Unified Computing System, Video and Unified Communications.

Focusing on customer needs and structured sales processes, he is expert in Enterprise, Commercial, Public Sector and Service Providers.

 

Angus has a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Computing Science from University of Glasgow,  and MBA from Glasgow Business School. His final thesis dissertation was on AI in 1988.    He is a Yacht master and lead expeditions in the Pacific Ocean and Australia in 1980s.

 

Angus is a former international runner,  swimmer and  triathlete,  keen on Skiing, Sailing & Diving.   Angus is from Oban in Scotland,  has lived with his family and two children in Dubai for the past 20 years.
